Descaler All Purpose
Descaler removes limescale to restore performance & shine to kettles, coffee machines, shower heads & steam irons. A great excuse for another cuppa we think.

extend electrical appliance’s lifespan

Concentrated, fast acting formulation
Ideal for use on kettles, coffee machines, shower heads and steam irons.
KETTLES:
Half fill kettle with water and boil. Switch off and unplug. Add 200ml of descaler and, if effervescence occurs, wait until this subsides. If Limescale remains, reheat the kettle until water simmers DO NOT BOIL. Empty kettle. Refill with clean water and boil. Empty and rinse thoroughly before use. Heavily scaled kettles may require a repeat application. Do not leave the descaler in your kettle for more than 8 hours.
COFFEE MACHINES:
Pour 100ml of descaler into reservoir and add 500ml of cold water. Turn on machine for one minute. Switch off and leave for one hour. Boil remainder of liquid then boil twice with clean water before reuse.
SHOWER HEADS:
Pour 50ml of descaler into a narrow jug. Immerse shower head in descaler until scale disperses. Rinse shower head and jug thoroughly before use. Do not leave the shower head in descaler for more than 8 hours.
STEAM IRONS:
DO NOT DESCALE WITH IRON PLUGGED IN. Refer to manufacturer’s instructions before use. Do not use with Tefal irons or irons with an in built cleaning system. Pour 50ml of descaler into water chamber and top up with warm water. With steam position selected, gently shake iron over a bowl until solution drains through steam holes. Allow iron to drain over bowl for 30 minutes. Briefly pump solution through iron using spray button. Rinse iron thoroughly at least twice with cold water. Dry iron, ensuring no solution is left in chamber or on hot plate.
One capful equals 30ml. Avoid contact with acid sensitive surfaces such as natural stone.
