Anti-Mould Stain Block MOULDX
Description: White stain block for mould and mildew prone surfaces. Suitable for substrates with residual moisture. Once dry, the stain block prevents moisture from seeping up through the substrate protecting areas from mould and mildew growth. Also prevents salt efflorescence on all mineral surfaces such as concrete, lime, cement-based plaster and clay tiles. Covers water, nicotine and soot stains.
Areas of use: For mould and mildewed wall and ceiling surfaces in living areas and damp locations. Remove existing mould and mildew before application. Not suitable for permanently damp gypsum plaster and plasterboards.
Pre-treatment: Remove any existing growth using MouldX Mould Remover. Use MouldX Repair Filler for any necessary repair work. The surface must be stable and free from dust, grease and other separating agents prior to application.
Application: Stir well before use and apply with a brush or roller. For secure protection, apply generously and if necessary apply a second coat once the first is completely dry. In normal conditions, drying time is approximately 8 hours.
Important: Do not apply wallpaper or paint until the treated areas are completely dry. Clean tools immediately after use with white spirits. If surfaces are exposed to moisture over a long period of time, consult an expert.
